I don't understand people.

I really do not understand people in general. There are people out there who say they are "of god" or "religious" who actually believe in the Death Penalty. These same people cry about a momument to the Ten Commandment being removed from state capitols. The question that comes to mind is, have you read the Ten Commandments? In case you haven't here are the Ten Commandments for your reading pleasure.

First
"I am The Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me."

Second
"You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I The Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate Me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love Me and keep My Commandments."

Third
"You shall not take The Name of The Lord your God in vain; for The Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His Name in vain."

Fourth
"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to The Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your manservant, or your maidservant, or your cattle, or the sojourner who is within your gates; for in six days The Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore The Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it."

Fifth
"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which The Lord your God gives you."

Sixth
"You shall not kill."

Seventh
"You shall not commit adultery."

Eighth
"You shall not steal."

Ninth
"You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor."

Tenth
"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his ass, or anything that is your neighbor's."

(Exodus 20:2-17 RSV)

I hate to point this out but apperantly even God thinks its pretty important NOT to kill others. The bible does NOT say, ok on this one issue we allow murder. You people who picket abortion docters better for not one second say killing people is ok. Please for goodness sakes do not use the arguement. The bible also says, "An eye for an Eye", if you use that pleasae hang yourself. Does anything overule the Ten Commandments really? (When it comes to the Christian bible.) If so, is your book wrong? If you say it can't be wrong, then KILLING IS WRONG. Don't use the bible to argue with itself, either its right or its wrong. Which is it?

So who believes in the Death Penalty? Well, President Bush sure thinks its ok to kill people. That "moral" upstanding man (who also happens to hate queers) had the chance to keep people from dying while he was Governer of Texas; but you know what, he even wanted to kill mentally disabled people. What a wonderful person he is, and I am sure his God will look past all the killings that have been on his hands (Obviously the Ten Commandments don't mean shit to him.) Also you pretty much know the Ten Commandments really don't mean shit to most of you either, aren't we still killing people? Anyone like this uses religion to get what they want, then push it aside when it does NOT suit what they want.

Let me re-write the 6th commandment to help you all out.
Sixth
"You shall not kill." Unless it fits your needs; because you are all that matters.

Most likely if you believe in the Death Penalty and are also a "God Fearing" person, your just a coward and really you should be ashamed of yourself. If you really believe in god and you think its ok to kill people, sorry your going to hell.

Yup, you guessed it; killing people is wrong. Just ask God.

Big Brother IS watching you!

Read this article --> N. Orleans Installing Surveillance Cameras

Things like this are going to put our country into a very bad place. If you want to cause a civil war then continue to do the things that scare all Americans. Please pass laws that take away our rights, please pass laws that give more power to the government; and I promise you this, there will be War. If you do not believe me just take some time to read any documents wrote by our founding fathers. It comes down to our founding ideals and I am pretty sure the possiblity of our government spying on us was NOT in their founding strategy.

This is not a simple issue. Just think the government could post a camera outside your house and watch you; or watch their so called "enemies" whoever that maybe. Don't think for one moment its not possible because 20 years ago people didn't think it was possible to have cameras on every street corner. Anyone back in the day who said that it was possible (to have cameras all over) was a crazy or it was science fiction but now we are seeing it come true.

People, GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES. We need to put a stop to this craziness.
Big brother wants to watch you, so do something about it.

Sense of humor...

If you have a good sense of humor check out this Disturbing video of the Smurfs. My god its freaking funny as hell. I love Towlie at the end of the video. I personally am a big South Park fan.

If you don't have a sense of humor you may want to skip it. If you are one of those people who is offended easily, please skip it.

P2P what a wonderful world.

Showdown Looms for P2P Networks

Its sad that greed can try to keep the music/movie industry from having technology advance. I seriously do not think they understand how far reaching this would be if the Supreme Court said that P2P was illegal.

"Among the groups filing briefs in support of Grokster Tuesday were: the Consumer Federation of America, 60 intellectual property law professors, the American Conservative Union, the American Civil Liberties Union (news - web sites), 17 computer science professors, the National Venture Capital Association, Intel Corp, the Computer and Communications Industry Association, and the Free Software Foundation."

If its not a concern about P2P in general these briefs would have never been filed. If Microsoft hasn't filed briefs it just boggles my mind why not.

Really it comes down to greed, greed and more greed. I do not download music illegally but I think what the greed is doing to the industry is just sad. We really need legal refrom here in the United States. I would greatly appreciate it if we put a similar law into effect as the U.K. law called the Security for Costs. Which keeps frivolous US-style SLAPP suits from being filed in the hope of harassing one's opponent, these are not possible in the UK because of this law.

When the first threat you hear come out of someones mouth is, I will sue you. There is something seriously wrong. Also if the first words from your mouth are, if you don't like it in this country leave. Hell no you moron if you can't remember freedom of expression your the one who needs to leave the damn country. Head to a middle east country where your opinion means shit and you can take it or leave it. Here in the United States we believe in debate and the right to express what you think is right and wrong with our great country.

I see something that the U.K. or any other country is doing right and I think we should at least check it out. You never know what you can learn from other cultures/countries until you open your mind. I know this seems like a new idea since recently people want to say, "do it our way, or the highway" Screw that line of thinking, if you think this way; please head to the nearest restroom with some rope and hang yourself. It will help our country out greatly and being the patriot you are you can feel great about helping our country lose one more moron.
